In Your Mercy
05:54
|
|
||
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In your mercy, Lord you called me
taught my hardened heart and mind,
else this world had still enthralled me,
and to glory kept me blind.
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
Lord, I did not freely choose you
till by grace you set me free;
for my heart would still refuse you
had your love not chosen me,
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
Now my heart sets none above you,
for your grace alone I thirst
knowing well, that if I love you,
you, O Lord, have loved me first
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy
In Your Mercy

We Walk By Faith
04:36
|
|||
We walk by faith, and not by sight;
no gracious words we hear from him
who spoke as none e'er spoke;
but we believe him near.
We may not touch his hands and side,
nor follow where he trod;
but in his promise we rejoice;
and cry, "My Lord and God!"
Help then, O Lord, our unbelief;
and may our faith abound,
to call on you when you are near,
and seek where you are found:
that, when our life of faith is done,
in realms of clearer light
we may behold you as you are,
with full and endless sight.

King Of Love
05:50
|
|
||
The King of love my shepherd is,
whose goodness faileth never;
I nothing lack if I am his,
and he is mine for ever.
Where streams of living water flow,
my ransomed soul he leadeth,
and where the verdant pastures grow,
with food celestial feedeth.
In death's dark vale I fear no ill
with thee, dear Lord, beside me;
thy rod and staff my comfort still,
thy cross before to guide me.
Thou spread'st a table in my sight;
thy unction grace bestoweth;
and O what transport of delight
from thy pure chalice floweth!
And so through all the length of days
thy goodness faileth never:
Good Shepherd, may I sing thy praise
within thy house for ever.

Alleluia, Sing To Jesus
05:12
|
|||
Alleluia! sing to Jesus!
His the scepter, his the throne.
Alleluia! His the triumph,
his the victory alone.
Hark! the songs of peaceful Zion
thunder like a mighty flood.
Jesus out of every nation
hath redeemed us by his blood.
Alleluia! bread of heaven,
here on earth our food our stay!
Alleluia! here the sinful
flee to thee from day to day.
Intercessor, Friend of sinners,
earth's Redeemer, plead for me.
Where the songs of all the sinless
sweep across the crystal sea.
Alleluia! King eternal,
thee the Lord of lords we own;
Alleluia! born of Mary,
earth thy footstool,
heaven thy throne.
Thou within the veil hast entered,
robed in flesh, our great High Priest.
Thou on earth both Priest and Victim
in the Eucharistic Feast.

O love, how deep, how broad, how high,
how passing thought and fantasy,
that God, the Son of God, should take
our mortal form for mortals’ sake!
For us baptized, for us he bore
his holy fast and hungered sore;
for us temptation sharp he knew,
for us the tempter overthrew.
For us he prayed; for us he taught;
for us his daily works he wrought:
by words and signs and actions thus
still seeking not himself, but us.
For us to wicked hands betrayed,
scourged, mocked, in purple robe arrayed,
he bore the shameful cross and death;
for us gave up his dying breath.
For us he rose from death again;
for us he went on high to reign;
for us he sent his Spirit here
to guide, to strengthen, and to cheer.
All glory to our Lord and God
for love so deep, so high, so broad
the Trinity, whom we adore
forever and forevermore.

O Wondrous Type
04:53
|
|
||
O wondrous sight, O vision fair
of glory that the church may share,
which Christ upon the mountain shows,
where brighter than the sun he glows!
With Moses and Elijah nigh
the incarnate Lord holds converse high.
And from the cloud the holy one
bears record to the only son
With shining face and bright array
Christ deigns to manifest today
what glory shall be theirs above
who joy in God with perfect love.
And faithful hearts are raised on high
by this great vision's mystery,
for which in joyful strains we raise
the voice of prayer, the hymn of praise.
Oh Father with the eternal Son
and Holy Spirit ever one
vouchsafe to bring us by thy grace
to see thy glory face to face.

Before the Lord's eternal throne,
ye nations, bow with sacred joy;
know that the Lord is God alone,
he can create, and he destroy.
His sovereign power without our aid,
formed us of clay and gave us breath
and when like wandering sheep we strayed,
he saved us from the power of death. Ohhhh
We are his people, we his care,
our souls and all our mortal frame:
what lasting honors shall we rear,
almighty Maker, to your name?
We'll crowd thy gates with thankful songs,
high as the heavens our voices raise;
and earth, with her ten thousand tongues,
shall fill thy courts with sounding praise. Ohhh...
I walk, I look around me, I wonder
what is this life about, why am I here?
Wide as the world is thy command,
vast as eternity thy love;
firm as a rock thy truth must stand,
when rolling years shall cease to move.
We are his people, we his care
our souls and all our mortal frame.
What lasting honors shall we rear
almighty maker to thy name.
Ahhhh, ohhhh.....

Christ Is Alive
05:38
|
|
||
Christ is alive! Let Christians sing.
His cross stands empty to the sky.
Let streets and homes with praises ring.
His love in death shall never die.
Christ is alive! No longer bound
to distant years in Palestine,
he comes to claim the here and now
and conquer every place and time.
Not throned above, remotely high,
untouched, unmoved by human pains,
but daily, in the midst of life,
our Savior with the Father reigns.
In every insult, rift, and war
where color, scorn or wealth divide,
he suffers still, yet loves the more,
and lives, though ever crucified.
Christ is alive! His Spirit burns
through this and every future age,
till all creation lives and learns
his joy, his justice, love, and praise.

I Sought The Lord
03:57
|
|
||
1 I sought the Lord, and afterward I knew
he moved my soul to seek him, seeking me;
it was not I that found, O Savior true;
no, I was found of thee.
2 Thou didst reach forth thy hand and mine enfold;
I walked and sank not on the storm-vexed sea;
'twas not so much that I on thee took hold,
as thou, dear Lord, on me.
3 I find, I walk, I love, but oh, the whole
of love is but my answer, Lord, to thee;
for thou wert long beforehand with my soul,
always thou lovedst me.

||||
10. |
||||
Now let us all with one accord
in company with ages past
keep vigil with our heavenly Lord.
In his temptation and his fast
the covenant so long revealed
to those of faith in former time.
Christ by his own example sealed
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.
Christ by his own example sealed
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.
Your love oh Lord our sinful race
has not returned by falsified
turn your face and heal our pride.
Remember Lord though frail we be
in your image we were made
grant us truth to make us wise.
Christ by his own example sealed,
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.
Christ by his own example sealed,
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.
Therefore we pray you Lord forgive
so when our wanderings here shall cease
we may with you forever live
in love and unity and peace.
We are forever in your love
created by the hands of God.
Christ by his own example sealed
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.
Christ by his own example sealed
the Lord of love in love sublime he is.

God Is Love
06:09
|
|||
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
Here is Christ we gather
love of Christ our calling.
Christ our love is with us
gladness be his greeting.
Let us fear and love him
Holy God eternal.
Loving him let each love
Christ in one another.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
When we Christians gather
members of one body.
Let there be in us no
discord by one spirit.
Banish now be anger
strife and every quarrel.
Christ our God be always
present here among us.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
Grant us love's fulfillment
joy with all the blessed.
When we see your face oh
Saviour in its glory
Shine on us oh purest
light of all creation.
Be our bliss while endless
ages sing your praises.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.
God is love and where true love is God himself is there.

ooh...
ooh...
The people who in darkness walked
have seen a glorious light;
on them broke forth
the heavenly dawn
who dwelt in death and night.
To hail thy rising Son of life
the gathering nations come,
joyous as when the reapers bear
their harvest treasures home.
To us the promised child is born,
to us the Son is given;
Him shall the tribes of earth obey
and all the hosts of heaven.
His name shall be the Prince of Peace
forevermore adored,
the Wonderful, the Counselor,
the Mighty God and Lord.
His power increasing still shall spread
his reign no end shall know.
Justice shall guard his throne above
and peace abound below.
Justice shall guard his throne above.
The wonderful the counselor.
